V.E.R.NE. project

Welcome to the V.E.R.NE. Project’s website.

V.E.R.NE. is a Leonardo da Vinci Partnership project. The main goal of the project is to develop a specialised training initiative within the “European Routes Network”: a network of cultural and historical itineraries traversing all regions of Europe. The main target group are employees and entrepreneurs working in the production and service sectors linked to the European Routes of the partner countries. The project focuses on improving inadequate skills and knowledge of these groups and aims at enhancing the economic development of disadvantaged regions and creating new professional opportunities.

Activities and outcomes

The partnership’s development work is based upon the analysis and identification of specific skill gaps and qualification needs for the respective sectors (e.g. service skills, arts and craft skills).
Successful implementation is supported by involving stakeholders, such as development agencies, trade associations, vocational and educational institutions, as well as local and regional public bodies in the project.
The final outcome of V.E.R.NE. will be a vocational education and training model which provides specialised VET courses to various clients in each partner country.
